ABOUT THE TEMPLE
This sacred temple was founded on the auspicious day of Vijaya Dashami in October 1988, with the Shanku Sthapana (foundation ceremony). The temple was consecrated on 22nd March 1991, followed by the traditional Mandala Archana.
Since its inception, the temple has been a spiritual center where daily rituals are performed with devotion. Regular practices include:
The temple was built through the collective efforts of the founders of Vivekananda Nagar Colony, Late Sri M. V. Krishna Reddy Garu and Late Sri Vaddepalli Narasinga Rao Garu, along with colony residents and devotees.
With divine blessings from Srimath Paramahamsa Parivrajakacharya Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, the temple continues to flourish under the supervision of: Sri Kosuri Ramakrishna Macharyulu
From Suprabhata Seva to Pavvalimpu Seva, all rituals are performed daily with utmost discipline and devotion.
On the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashami, the Shanku Sthapana (foundation ceremony) of the temple was performed with great devotion and Vedic rituals. This marked the beginning of a sacred spiritual journey, envisioned by the founders and supported by the local community to establish a divine place of worship.
The temple was formally consecrated through Pratishta Mahotsavam, followed by Mandala Archana, conducted as per Agama Shastra traditions. The divine presence was invoked, making the temple a powerful spiritual center for devotees.
From the time of consecration, daily pooja rituals and sevas have been performed without interruption. The temple follows a disciplined spiritual routine including:
These rituals continue to strengthen the spiritual atmosphere of the temple.
To facilitate religious ceremonies and social gatherings, a Kalyana Mandapam was constructed within the temple premises. This space serves as a sacred venue for weddings, cultural programs, and community events, strengthening the bond among devotees.
A Goshala (cow shelter) was established as part of the temple's dharmic activities. The Goshala supports the protection and care of cows, which hold great spiritual significance in Hindu tradition. Devotees actively participate in Goseva and contribute to its maintenance.
In 2020, a Sri Hanuman Temple was constructed within the premises, enhancing the spiritual importance of the temple complex. Devotees now have the opportunity to offer prayers to Lord Hanuman, especially on auspicious days like Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The temple continues to grow as a center of faith and devotion. With increasing participation from devotees, regular sevas, festivals, annadanam programs, and spiritual activities are being conducted on a larger scale, ensuring that the temple remains a vibrant and divine space for future generations.
Blending devotion, tradition, and service to guide every devotee towards inner peace and spiritual connection.
